Take a tour of a local School of Character during a regular school day. See the 11 Principles at work in different classrooms, and interact with staff and students who make character development a priority. Transportation to and from the school is included.
|Character Awards Gala

Celebrate 25 years of Character.org and the National Forum at this inaugural character gala where we will be celebrating prominent advocates from our past as well as influential leaders in the present. This gala will bring together character leaders in education, sports, workplaces and communities as a whole. Individual tickets and tables are available separately, but we’re offering a limited number of discounted tickets to 2018 National Forum attendees.
|11 Principles Workshop
Part 1 Oct. 6th | 2:30pm-5pm | Price: $300
Part 2 Oct. 7th | 9am-1pm
This highly interactive training focuses on specifics for educators who want to begin or move forward with their character development initiatives. Participants will learn tools for leadership, techniques for culture and climate change and other practical skills using the 11 Principles of Effective Character Education as an anchor. Attendance at both session times is necessary for completion of the workshop.

Join key international and domestic thought leaders in this groundbreaking summit as we discuss character development initiatives around the world. We’ll share emerging practices as well as possibilities for the future. Engage with presenters and participants as we work to determine what’s next in building a more global community.
|Monuments by Moonlight Tour
Fri. Oct. 5th | 7pm-10pm | Price: $50
Take a night time bus tour around DC, stopping at all the major monuments. The bus driver is also an experienced tour guide who will share facts and trivia about the sites you visit. Then, you can hop off for photos and a better look at the most popular stops like the Lincoln, Jefferson and Martin Luther King Memorials. The bus picks up and drops off at the Wardman Hotel (Forum site).
