An outdoor classroom was developed during the 2010-11 school year. This project encompassed multiple departments in its creation. Students took what they learned in school and applied it to their community. Students from all facets of the high school campus became involved in the project. In three technical drawing classes, fifty students designed a vision of the outdoor classroom. Students then voted on the best designs to select the final layout. Environmental science classes have selected appropriate landscape which would survive well in the given environment while Physics classes have added a water feature to the classroom while studying hydraulic systems.
