Partnership for Kids
Partnership for Kids is a weekly after-school club for middle school students with social challenges. Partnership for Kids club benefits a self-contained therapeutic program for student with emotional disturbances as well as many other special needs students in the building and general education students who have demonstrated a need for the program. The program services students with multiple disabilities, including the diagnoses of Emotionally Disturbed, Learning Disabled, Autism, and Speech and Language disorders. Students from the general education population who have social challenges (difficulty making/maintaining friendships, struggles "fitting in," isolation, etc.) are also invited to become members of the club. All students who are invited have been referred by staff members.
