Character.org is extremely proud to recognize and celebrate this year 152 Promising Practices. Each of these programs and initiatives has demonstrated significant impact and strongly aligns with one or more of the 11 Principles that help schools and organizations to intentionally cultivate a culture of character. These exemplary practices include peer mentoring, service-learning, and character-affirming approaches to conflict resolution.
Character.org will honor each 2022 Promising Practice school and organization at our International Forum, to be held virtually on October 19-20.

Applying their Promising Practices to one of our 11 Principles
We invite each school and organization to share with us how their practice or initiate aligns with one or more of our 11 Principles. Here’s what the schools and organization shared with us:
22 > Principle 1 (a set of core values are embedded into the school or organization culture)
21 > Principle 2 (character involves understanding, caring about and practicing the core values)
14 > Principle 3 (your character development approach is proactive and comprehensive)
38 > Principle 4 (caring relationships foster a sense of belonging and connection)
