Position Summary:

The Operations Coordinator will be a key driver in the execution of our new 5-year Strategic Plan. Working closely with the President and Executive Vice President, the Operations Coordinator will assist and support the internal operations of our organization. We are looking for a self-starter who can increase our efficiencies across a wide range of functions, including IT and data management, accounts payables/receivables, board communications, screening resumes, and special projects. The Operations Coordinator will also work closely with the President to sustain Character.org’s healthy and active board and staff culture.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support our IT functions (with support from our consultants)
  • Assist and support our data management systems
  • Assist and support our accounts payable/receivable (with support from our Executive VP)
  • Assist and support the planning and execution of special events
  • Administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in QuickBooks, WordPress, Gravity Flow and Bloomerang a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Relationship builder
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently
  • Commitment to Character.org’s mission

This full-time position is salaried, commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits include health insurance, life insurance and 403b retirement plan.
