School Safety

Sadly, shootings and other violence have become all too common in schools across the nation. While it is important to have an intentional crisis plan, the best prevention is to build a strong, supportive school culture and trusting relationships between students and staff so that problems can be brought to attention and addressed before anyone turns to violence to solve them.

At CEP’s School Safety Summit, experts united to share best practices through short presentations about keeping schools and students safe. Many of the video and audio recordings have additional resources or handouts which will help you develop a comprehensive plan for your school.
